Pikkewyntjies / Penguinkidz Pre-School

Pikkewyntjies is now a member of Water Explorer.  

The goal is to save precious water while teaching our kidlets good water saving habits that will become as natural to them as getting dressed in the morning.  

A start has been made with the installation of plastic cooldrink bottles in the bathroom. The children need only give the bottle a squeeze to release enough water to wet a toothbrush OR to get a drink, hold a mug under the spout and squeeze several times.  

There are now no more running taps in the bathroom and the children enjoy making the water run down the spout.
