The Executive Mayor, Cllr. Nicolette Botha-Guthrie tabled the draft audited annual report for the 2012/13 financial year. Overstrand Municipality obtained a clean audit for the 2012/13 financial year and the Mayor thanked the administration, Council and all external bodies for their assistance in obtaining this exceptional achievement.
Overstrand Municipality is one of only eleven municipalities in the Province that succeeded in obtaining a clean audit for the 2012/13 financial year. The report will be open for public scrutiny and comment until Friday, 28 February 2014. It can be accessed on the municipal website www.overstrand.gov.za and hard copies will be available at administrative offices and public libraries.
Council will consider the final annual report together with all comments and representations received, at a meeting scheduled for 26 March 2014. This meeting will be open to the public.
