Die nuwe brug wat oor die Uilenkraalrivier gebou word, met ‘n sterk rivierstroom wat onderdeur vloei ná die onlangse reëns in die area. “Die bouproses van die brug, asook die padbouwerke, het gelukkig nie noemenswaardige skade ná die onlangse reëns opgedoen nie,” sê Johan Kruger, Terrein Agent van die projek. Hy sê die projek is met hoogstens ‘n week vertraag. Gansbaai Courant (Donderdag, 5 Junie 2014) het volledig oor die nuwe brug berig.
