This week Alina will cover laser photogrammetry and how it can be used in studying active and most of the time constantly moving species. Working with wild animals, it is sometimes tricky to come up with a non-invasive but efficient way of studying them. Tune in on Wednesday to learn how lasers can be used in studying sharks.

Alina grew up in Russia, she’s always been fascinated by terrestrial wildlife and never thought that sea will be a part of her life until 2013 when she saw her first great white shark while volunteering with Marine Dynamics. She finished her BSc degree in the University of South Wales in the UK and returned as an intern with the Marine Dynamics Academy in 2018, now she is a part of MD Team.
