Welcome to The Home Organiser
What is The Home Organiser?
Sometimes it can feel overwhelming to keep your room clean on the daily.
1. Force yourself to make your bed every morning
You will feel way less anxious and overwhelmed once your bed is made. It won't even take you 5 minutes!
2. Try to avoid eating in your room
This will help you keep your bed clean, your nightstands empty and your floors clean. If you do end up eating in your room then make sure to always take any cups or plates to the kitchen as soon as you are done to avoid clutter.
3. Keep your nightstands clean
The less you have on your nightstand the calmer your brain will feel - remember that your bedroom is supposed to be a relaxing place for you to unwind.
4. Keep the floors clean from any clothing items
When you get undressed make sure to put away clean clothes and to put your dirty ones in the wash. This may sound like a simple task but if you do not do this every day your floor (or the chair in your room) may turn into a laundry pile.
5. Last but not least, try to air out your room and make sure some sunlight comes in at least once a day
This will make your room feel fresh and help you to feel more positive.
Remember, it is better to clean for 20 minutes Monday to Friday than to clean for almost 2 hours on a Sunday when you could be relaxing!
